Major: Biology

My name is Lellas Alhallak, and I’m going into my last year at NJIT. You may have a hard time figuring out how to say my name but it really isn’t that hard. It’s Lee-Las. Still having trouble? Just ask me when you see me on campus!

Treasurer

Amina Bendaoud
Major: Math

I'm Amina and I'm a junior at NJIT. I'm a math tutor and I love talking about math so if you ever have a question let me know! I have an identical twin sister so if you think you see me around campus but I'm not responding to Amina, it's probably her. Bonus points to whoever can guess which one of us is older by three minutes; only one person has ever guessed it right.

Secretary

Rama Hannineh
Major: Biomedical Engineering

My name is Rama Hannineh, and I am currently a sophomore. I am from Damascus (favorite city in the entire world), Syria. Two words to describe me would be “cheery” and “nerd”. Whenever I cook, I feel very accomplished (especially if I didn’t forget the salt). If I were you, I would read those weekly MSA emails (just saying) ;) .

ان شاء الله ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰ .

Volunteer Coordinator

Aamir Sayed
Major: Mechanical Engineering

They call me Egg in these Arab inhabited lands. Don't ask why. I'm known for my thirst for challenges, puns that are pun-ishingly bad (ha!), and brutal honesty. I love drinking stuff with sugar in it. I'm all about genuine brotherhood so expect to get roasted. I'm good with advice, somewhat reasonable, but I almost sincerely care about my fellow muslims, so if y'all need anything, don't hesitate to reach out.

Media Productions

Bara Qudah
Major: Civil Engineering

Salaam, my name is Bara Qudah. I'm a junior with a major interest in photography and videography. My camera sleeps on its own pillow next to me every night. If there's an event on campus worth photographing, I'll be there Insha'Allah.

Marketing Director

Hafeth Wadi
Major: Computer Science

My name is Hafeth Wadi. I am the MSA’s director of marketing, otherwise known as the Master of Memes and Mischief. Events Coordinator

Fatima Masadah
Major: Biology

Salam everyone, I’m Fatima Masadeh, your events coordinator. Fun fact: I consider winning the MSA chopped cook off one of my greatest achievements, somehow my sister and I managed to bake a pie during the final round.

Program Director

Heather Alhallak
Major: Civil Engineering

My name is Heather Alhallak and I’m a Junior at NJIT. Don’t let the name fool you, yeah my name is Heather but I’m actually Arab. You’ll probably see me running around like a crazy person during our events making sure everything goes right but I promise I’m not always that crazy.

Yousef Elakbawy
Major: Biology

My name is Yousef and I am a biology major going into my sophomore year. I love animals, am addicted to coffee, and am a proud Egyptian.

Sisters Coordinator

Aya Ghazy
Major: Biology

My name Aya Ghazy and I’m currently a junior at NJIT. FUN FACT: A lot of people get surprised when I tell them I have a twin brother. According to my family, one day when we were sleeping as infants, my older sister covered our faces with a blanket claiming she “didn’t want us to get cold”, basically almost suffocating us. And yes it’s true, we do have this weird twin telepathy thing. Come up to me when you see me on campus to find out some crazy stories about what it’s like being fraternal twins.
